Hello, we are Sarah and Alan of Glamping The Wight Way. We searched the beautiful Isle of Wight for years to secure the most special location for our unique boutique glamping site. Many hours of thought have gone into each element of the lodges to create a special place for you to have your holiday.
We are a family run business, with our family all working hard to run things as smoothly as possible and making the lodges a place in which we would like to stay ourselves. During the holiday season, our sons play an important part in the grass-cutting and changeover duties!
Our first two spacious lodges opened in July 2017, with two more in March 2018. Glamping The Wight Way is aiming to increase the choice and provide high quality accommodation here in the West Wight. Our glamp site is quiet, beautiful and close to everything you may need, on the outskirts of an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are working hard to adapt our site cleaning and operational practices due to Covid 19.
We understand that the way people holiday is changing, with staycation breaks becoming popular for mixed family groups, friendship, and activity groups. With this in mind, we have tried to give more flexibility within our sleeping & storage arrangements than you might find in other accommodation. Our lovely lodges have been described as luxurious lodges - come and see for yourself.
Although gently off grid, each of our tents has solar-powered lighting in each room and USB charging points for your mobile phones. Used carefully, you should be kept out of the dark and fully charged! We also have two flushing toilets per tent, gas-fired fridge and hob, and outdoor shower! Two wood-burning stoves provide heat, the oven with hotplate for cooking and hot water for the bath!
We are a pet and vehicle free Glampsite (with a separate private car park close by). We hope that your stay with us is comfortable and you leave us knowing that this is how it should be done... Glamping The Wight Way.

We are following all necessary precautions with the sole aim of keeping you safe during your stay with us. We have enhanced cleaning procedures in place, and new hand sanitiser points at the entrance to our camp and at each lodge. We are continually updating our policies and keeping up to date with all Government advice and guidelines.
We understand that Glamping can be a new experience for some, so we will guide you through all elements of the lodge functions and will send you a link to our Lodge Book App which can be downloaded prior to your arrival. This app is a helpful tool to show you how the different elements work, such as our wood burning stoves and outdoor showers.
