No matter your reason for visiting the Island we have something for you!

cycling - old railway path

Why not hire a bike from Wight Cycle Hire and explore the Island's countryside in style and ease - go electric and it will be even easier!

Visit the likes of Tapnell Farm Park, Isle of Wight Zoo, Monkey Haven or Amazon World and take in a world of wildlife, with everything from tigers to farm animals, meerkats to owls.

If the family aren't looking for a cycling or walking holiday, why not treat them to the famous Alum Bay Park to see the coloured sands, join the cowboys and girls at Blackgang Chine theme park, or explore the gardens and rides on offer at Robin Hill theme park. There's something for all the family, you can even take a walk with dinosaurs at Dinosaur Isle in Sandown!

Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight

Take a step back in time at Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House or, just a short walk from our site, Fort Victoria country park. You will see a glimpse into the past of Royals, a time of war, and you'll always discover something new along the way.

Or why not go for a low-key family outing - with a stop-off to Freshwater's West Wight Sports & Swimming Centre, or Ryde Superbowl.

There's not one, but two, cinemas for any of you film buffs Cineworld Newport or the Commodore Cinema in Ryde.

Isle of Wight Steam Railway steam train

The Island also has a rich steam history and you'll be able to discover that age of steam with a ride on a real steam train that runs through the Island's countryside at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet.

There is so much to see and do across the whole Island. Take a car or take advantage of the Island's bus company and explore what the Isle of Wight has to offer.
