Our canvas lodges
Our glampsite is quiet, beautiful and close to everything you may need. Each lodge is exactly the same layout and sleep 6-8 people. There are three bedrooms sleeping six people and a sofa bed in the living area.
The lodges have many windows and wide, glazed doors on the front to let the light in (all with privacy blinds). They are insulated from underneath and have an extra roof canopy to provide further shelter over the structure. The interiors are beautifully furnished and bed linen, throws, blankets, and towels are provided.
Although gently off grid, each of our tents has solar-powered lighting in each room and USB charging points for your mobile phones. Used carefully, you should be kept out of the dark and fully charged.

Our well-equipped kitchen is full of rustic charm. 85% of the wood used was sourced locally and the shelves & cupboards were created by local craftsman.
Each kitchen has a gas-fired hob, gas fridge (with small freezer section), butler sink, large cool box, enamel tableware, melamine tumblers and heavy glassware. There are pots, pans, utensils and cutlery.
Luxurious Sleeping Under Canvas
Your glamping holiday with us is all about comfort; super comfy beds, crisp cotton sheets, soft throws and hot water bottles. There are three bedrooms; one double with king-size bed, one twin and one bunk room.
The bunkroom with extra long bunkbeds and increased head-height is suitable for adults. The bottom bunk has a removable safety bar for small children.
The double sofa-bed is within the living area and makes for a cosy sleeping space having wonderful sunrise views! All doors and windows have privacy blinds.
Sanctuary In A Slipper Bath or Shower Under The Sky
Although we are off grid, there is still the home comfort of flushing loos & solar lighting. Our lodges have not just one, but two flushing loos! Enjoy the decadence of a roll-top slipper bath or an invigorating outside shower!
The hot water is heated by the wood-burning water heater that keeps these rooms toasty warm and makes the whole lodge smell wonderful. We have fitted coat hooks & towel hooks so that there is a place for everything.
The outside shower is in an enclosed private decked area. This is a gas shower so you don't need to wait for hot water.
Enjoy the open space and make memories around the campfire
The elevated deck at the front of each lodge provides magnificent views of the river and surrounding countryside and is a wonderful extension of the lodge.
The deck features a swinging chair and a small table and chairs. Down on the grass you can gather around the campfire with your own Kadai fire bowl and log seating. The BBQ rack, tripod and tray convert the fire bowl into a large BBQ for those sizzling sausages, paella or other culinary delights you wish to cook outside. We provide one large bag of BBQ charcoal to start you off with more available locally.
Also outside is a picnic table with benches, a bike rack towards the rear of the lodge and a rather handy welly rack & boot jack on the side of the deck. We also provide deck chairs and camping chairs.
